Port of Gdynia

Harbour Information, Terminals and Facilities
(Gdynia, Eastern Pomerania, Poland)

The Port of Gdynia is located in the region of Eastern Pomerania in Poland and provides limited ferry services between Poland and Sweden.

Facilities at the port are extremely limited and passengers looking for food and refreshments are best seeking them in the amenities of the town.

Toilets, public telephones and a waiting area are provided at the ferry terminal.

Ferry Services

A single ferry service, run by Stena Lines, operates from the port of Gdynia to Karlskrona in Sweden. Crossings take place twice a day and have a journey time of 12 hours. The service is relatively popular on account of Karlskrona being a significant tourist destination with World Heritage Site status from UNESCO. Stena Lines is a well established company and offers passengers the peace of mind provided by their international reputation. Services along this route are as professional and efficient as those operated in the North and Irish seas.

Gdynia is a small port and despite only offering one passenger ship service, the port is always busy on account of cargo being shipped from Gdynia to over 40 countries. The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
